Special Notices
The Summit Police Dept. has invited all Summit residentd to attend their first Open House on Sunday May 20, from 2:00p.m. to 4:00 PM,
where they will be able to meet their local police officers as well as take a tour of police headquarters. Members of the Union County Emergency Response Team and the Union County SWAT team will also be in attendance. Refreshments will be available, courtesy of the Summit PAL Board. Children are most welcome at this event and will undoubtedly be given souvenirs of their visit.
Any child or grandchild of a New Jersey Elk may apply for a New Jersey State Elks Legacy Award Scholarship. Go to our calendar date of May 30, 2012, to download a copy of the application. The earlier you get your application in the better your chances of receiving a scholarship. Any questions please contact Peter Soccodato at 908-591-2823.
