Summit Elks is proud to announce that it is sponsoring a poster contest open to all Summit, Chatham, and New Providence High School students commemorating Flag Day. Go to calendar date of June 10th for flier giving more details.
The 236th Flay Day Commemoration & Celebration will be held on the Summit Village Green beginning at 7 PM. In addition to the ceremony there will be performances by the Summit High School Brass Ensemble and The Continuo Arts Foundation Civic Chorale. The Summit Police and Fire Departments Honor Guard, Summit Boy Scout Venture Crew 1246, and members of Summit Elks Lodge 1246, will all participate in the ceremonies.
Do you have a friend that you would like to invite to join the Elks? It is real easy. Just go online to the Elks National website elks.org, sign in If you do not have a sign on, create one, then go to the red bar, far top left, Invite a Friend to Join. Click on that and follow the instructions. We will receive the invitation electronically and process it from there. Please email the Secretary once done jdesocio1432@comcast.net.
