The annual Summit elks HooP ShooT will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 3:30 pm at the New Providence Recreation Center Gymnasium. This contest is open to all boys and girls whose birthday falls between March 31, 2004 and April 1, 2008.
There are 3 different age groups...Boys vs. Boys and Girls vs. Girls:
8 - 9 year olds
10-11 year olds
12-13 year olds
Sunday, November 12, 2017 is No Football Sunday at the Summit Elks Lodge to honor our Veterans. We will be offering its members NASCAR and gold in lieu of football games today.
Come on in to the Lodge today and show your support for our Veterans!
Saturday, November 17, 2017, is Veterans Day. Thank a veteran for the freedom that we enjoy.
The month of November is dedicated as Veterans Remembrance Month. Most, if not all of us, know a Veteran. Bring them to lunch or dinner ...there are a lot of free stuff out there on Veterans Day...it'll do them and your heart some good! Everyday should be Veterans Day!

The Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship applications may be downloaded at http://www.elks.org/scholars/scholarships/MVS.cfm. The deadline is November 24, 2017. Please download the scholarship, fill it out following the instructions and submit it before the deadline

Announcing the Elks 2017-2018 Americanism Essay Contest. The theme of the contests is "Why Our Veterans Are America's Heroes." This contest is open to all students enrolled in the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eight grades. The essay is not to exceed 300 words. Please include the student's name, email address, contact phone number, school, and grade on the cover page. The contest ends December 16, 2017. Top six finishers awarded the one ounce U. S.
