INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS AND NEW MEMBERS INITIATION, SUNDAY,MARCH 26TH

COME CELEBRATE WITH US!

On Sunday, March 26th, Summit Lodge #1246 will hold a special Initiation and its Installation of Officers for  the 2017/2018 Elks' Year.  

Please join us to welcome our new Members as well as Officers and Committee Chairmen.

The Initiation begins at 1pm.  The Installation of Officers begins at 2pm. The Installation is open to members, families and guests.

There will be dinner and music afterwards.  A celebration for all!

 

Inspire Yoga Donates $1,200 to the Elks Foundation

The Summit Elks Lodge warmly thanks Shirley Fee of Inspire Yoga, who donated a check for $1,200 to the Summit Elks for the benefit of the Elks Foundation, presented at the February 15th meeting.

Inspire Yoga conducts yoga sessions at the Summit Elks Lodge in the mornings. For more information, visit their website.

American Legion Post 322 Donates $1,000 to the Summit Elks Veterans Committee

At the February 1, 2017 meeting, fellow Summit Elk and American Legion Post 322 commander Henry Bassman presented a check for $1,000 to Veterans Committee Chair Lou DeSocio for the benefit of the Committee's fund.

SUMMIT ELKS' MEMBERSHIP HITS 1709 SPECIAL VISIT FROM SPECIAL DEPUTY MALCOLM J. MCPHERSON AND STATE PRESIDENT RICH BARD

If there was a word to describe the evening 'FANTASTICAL' would be it!....On Wednesday, December 7th, Summit Lodge initiated 28 more members, bringing the total membership to 1709. This was a very special Initiation that will be remembered; not only for going over 1700 members but also for our special guests, Special Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler Malcolm J. McPherson, Jr.

SUMMIT ELKS' ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

On Sunday December 4th, Summit held its annual Christmas Celebration.  It was a magical night for the kids as well as the adults.  Detective Mike Freeman of Summit Police was invited to speak to the children about Safety, the kids were very attentive and had a lot of questions for Detective Mike!   Afterwards, Lois Pagano, NJ State Chairperson of Elks National Foundation presented him with a Grant of $2,000 to the PBA for protective vests, to help protect those who protect us!  Santa's helper Tyler read Elf on the Shelf; the Elf happened to be found by the kids perched in the Christmas tree
